A Water World Transformation
Bigger slides & even more fun for the entire family in 2026!
The north half of Water World is undergoing a major transformation featuring an all-new endless river and two huge 5-person raft slides! Thrill seekers will love Presque Isle Plunge where they take a tight spiral before descending a steep drop and back up a large wave-shaped wall giving a moment of weightless before splashing to the the bottom. The entire family will have endless laughter as they cruise tight spirals, in and out of tunnels, and take unexpected dips on Big Water Bend! Our new endless river, Winding Waters, will feature even more exciting water features and modern zero-depth entry and exit.
Paratrooper spins again in 2026!
Welcome Back!
Waldameer wasn’t the same in 2025 without one of our favorite family classics, Paratrooper! After taking a season off to make way for our new Water World entrance and Tasty Tater, Paratrooper will be rebuilt in a new home next to Steel Dragon complete with fresh paint and an exciting LED lighting package. The West Ballroom picnic shelter will be relocated near our Southern II grove at the south end of the park taking on the name, Hilltop Grove.

Surprises around every corner!
- Locker rentals in Water World are now keyless! Remember, lockers in Water World are always accessible until the amusement park closing time.
- A new scene in Pirate’s Cove taking over the former jail room.
- New food offerings – Taco Galopante! Right next to Merry-Go-Round featuring walking tacos and Mexican pizza!
- New picnic area in the southern end of the park – Hilltop Grove!
- Carousel Delights is now Carousel Creamery featuring a variety of Hershey’s hand dipped ice cream flavors, Dippin Dots, Dippin Dot Floats, and Dippin Dot Sundaes.
