Fun Ride Fact
In 1972, then General Manager, Paul Nelson, named the park's new miniature train ride after Lydia "Ruth" Moeller who was the widow of former Park Owner, Alex Moeller. In 2011, the original engine was replaced becoming today's red train (formally named "L. Ruth Express I"). The following season, 2012, an entire new blue train (formally named "L. Ruth Express II") was added.
